Middle GA LAN will host a webinar with interactive Q&A on Prevention & Health Promotion in PT. All PTAG PTs, PTAs and student members as well as non-members are invited to attend. This is something you will want to be a part of.
Perry Brubaker, PT, DPT is a certified Prevention and Health Promotion Therapist through the Academy of Prevention and Health Promotion Therapies. She is traditionally trained as a physical therapist having completed her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2001 then later went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2010.
Perry has held a physical therapy license in Georgia since 2001. In her 15+ years of practice she has worked in various orthopaedic physical therapy settings to include sports medicine and work injury management and has published on this topic in the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy. She also maintains a small orthopaedic and lifestyle physical therapy practice in the Peachtree City, GA area.
Most recently, Perry has combined her experience in work injury management and individual health and lifestyle management, with her knowledge of disease management to construct Brubaker Prevention and Health Promotion.
Brubaker P&HP is a health management consulting company for employers and looking for solutions to the yearly trend of rising healthcare costs. Perry works with the company to create a specific program to help cultivate health throughout the organization. By accessing risk factors for disease and implementing a health management plan rather than a disease management plan, Perry helps organizations and companies put themselves in control of rising healthcare costs.
