  • Student Research Award
    The research committee again this year will be awarding the Student Research Award, which recognizes excellence in research that advances the physical therapy profession by physical therapy students in Georgia. The award will be presented at the PTAG Annual Meeting. Application is open to students who have completed a research project while enrolled in an entry level or post professional physical therapy program and completed within the past year.   • Research Grants
    Research Grants provide financial support for PTAG members to encourage the completion and dissemination of research advancing the physical therapy profession. Last grant cycle we received funding requests from clinicians and students. The results of funded projects are presented at the PTAG Research Forum during the Fall meeting.   • Research Forum
    Research Forum provides an opportunity for clinicians, researchers and students to present and discuss current research relevant to physical therapy. Download additional information regarding the Research Forum.

Continuing Competency Hours

Requirements Update: The State Board has reduced the required number of CEU Hours from 40 to 30.

Please note that the State Board requires 30 CEU hours between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2007 and 30 CEU hours during each biennium thereafter. A minimum of four (4) hours per biennium must be in Ethics and Jurisprudence.
