How do I sign in if I am a current APTA/PTAG member?

  • Use your APTA ID number as the User Name and the folllowing password: Password1 (it is case sensitive) the first time you sign in.  You can choose to reset your password as well.  Your PTAG website password will not be the same as your APTA website password unless you make them match.

I clicked Reset Password but I haven't received an email with my password- what should I do?

  • Please check your spam/junk file for the email
  • Password reset emails are sent to the email on file that you initial entered in your APTA profile.  Please make sure you are checking the right email address for the password reset.
  • If you are still having problems, please contact the PTAG office for assistance info@ptagonline.org

How do I change my password?

  • Once signed in, navigate to My Profile on the top menu bar, click on the triangle next to your name and select Account+Settings. You will be able to change your password on this page.
How do I sign on if I joined APTA/PTAG in the last 30 days?
  • If you need member access before the APTA data is uploaded to the PTAG site, please contact the office info@ptagonline.org with your APTA number and your name.  We will add you with basic information until the APTA data is received.

How do I sign in if I'm not a member but I want to come to an event?

  • Please click here to create an account. You will be able to register for an event or post job.  You will not have access to member-only information or features.

What is the difference between a Forum and a Blog?

  • Forums are good for ongoing discussions and typically involve multiple contributors. Members are free to create topics of general interest and segmented by topic publicly or privately in groups. Examples of forums can be used to sharing knowledge of the “latest trends” or “educational advice”.

Blogs are good for more informational topics where you generally have one contributor and multiple people adding comments to the post(s).

  • If there is a Forum or Blog topic that you would like to see added to the website, please contact us here and we will review the request.

What do I do if I need to change my profile data?  The fields are disabled.

  • All data fields that are disabled need to be changed in your APTA profile. PTAG receives a file once a month with changes that members have made.  If you need something changed sooner, please contact the office here after you have made the change in APTA and we will update your profile temporarily.

What do I do if I want to see a Committee page?

  • From My Profile, navigate to the Groups tab.  Once there you will see a list of available groups on the right side of the page.  Select which one you'd like to join.  Once you are approved by the group administrator you will be able to see the group page.
